Review: Dracula; Untold

Greetings everyone!

I hope everybody had a wonderful and safe weekend!
I know I did !!

This weekend I saw Dracula: Untold...

And guys let me tell you. If you have not seen it, check it out. You won't be disappointed. The way the movie ended, it looks like there will be a part II. If there is, I'll be there sitting in the front row.

I must admit, I was a little nervous. It's been a long time since I've come across a movie that grabbed my heart strings. However, Dracula managed to do just that.

Don't worry no spoilers!!

But this is what I liked most about this film. It was true to real life! And how is that you might ask? Well, let me explain. Life is no fairy tale.

Life is tough. Life will get you stuck in a bind so tight you might gnaw at your own arm just to be free. That's what happened to Dracula. He had to make a tough decision in a short amount of time. As the leader, he had to do what he thought was best in order to save his family and his kingdom. And you know what?

I don't blame him!

Sometimes, we make deals with the devil because no other doors seem to open up. Sometimes we don't have the option of doing what is right. Sometimes we are just trying to survive; trying to escape pain.

And this is what happened to Dracula. His back was against the wall, so he sought the aid of the only power he knew. An old ancient evil.

Folks, let me tell you. It was great. I loved it. If there is a part II, I will be there to see it. This film made me want to cry in some parts, because I totally related to Dracula's sacrifice.

I thought it was a very creative twist, to an immortal tale.

Long live Dracula (Vlad the Impaler!)
