Flying...

With outstretched arms she soared through the heavens like an eagle. High above the clouds; looking down at the firmaments below. It was breathtaking; beyond anything she'd ever known or imagined. 

After today; she knew her life would never be the same. Her world had changed forever! The secrets of the universe had been revealed. And she was grateful to be a partaker of all its splendor. 

The air was cool but she didn't mind. Leaning into the wind she soared freely like a bird; like a plane; but better. She was doing something that defied all reason and logic. She was flying! And nothing could ever take that away from her. 

Fluffy puffs of clouds billowed underneath her belly. As far as the eye could see there were miles and miles of blue and white mingled with hints of black. The darkness as enchanting as it was; as inviting as it was; it still exuded a hint of anger that made her tremble slightly...
